Loh

Not long after I left my office just now to venture across to the stationery shop opposite, with the main purpose of trying to solve the problem of how to identify our BC group at the S'pore Open semi-finals and finals, than my mobile phone rang.
A sweet voice was at the other end of the line. She prcoeeded something like this:
"Mr Loh, Keet from the SBA told me that your overseas and local badminton friends will be supporting the Singapore Open."
Pleasantly surprised, because I did not ask much from Keet, except to get more posters from him to be given out to BFers who will join us at the SIS. By the way, BFers can use these posters to ask for autographs, so come prepared with a fine point marker if possible.
After my acknowledgment, she went on to say that she's from the Sports Council and would like to help us in anyway possible. She can arrange for us to collect the giveaways comprising flags, horns and rattlers (?) at the SIS.
I told her that we have problems booking a place for our Fun Games, she promised she'll look into it and revert on Friday. She knew that our presence would be good for the media, especially with BFers from overseas converging here and helping to build up the noise and the atmosphere!
The conversation ended there, but then I remembered that we need to identify ourselves and that was the sole purpose why I went to the stationery shop in the first place!
So I called back again to ask whether she could help us with some sort of a banner. What a nice lady, she said she would discuss with her colleague who is in charge of publicity to see whether something positive could be done. But she reminded me to give her the number in our group who will be attending the SF and the F.
So guys, please let me know here that you'll be there to support the BF group and the Singapore Open.
I hope what I've requested our angel can deliver! :)
