Singapore Open <b>will</b> be held this year, August 13-19.

Since Yonex is now the major sponsor, it will be called the Yonex Singapore Open. it will be a 4 star instead of a 5 star even as previously planned.

however, this is still very good news, as they will be inviting the top 10 singles players from each discipline, and the top 8 pair from each double discipline.
