klc28 11-14-2004, 10:55 AM Hmmm...an integrated cone on an old MP88 design with CH painted on the shaft.
No prizes for guessing what comes to mind right now. May I ask how you got hold of this?
BTW, my answer to this question is "I've not seen this before on a genuine racket."

Ricearonie 11-14-2004, 11:25 AM yes, i have seen one piece racquets before, infact my cousin has one but i don't remember the make or model of it :o
edit: but seeing a MP88 as a one piece the answer would be no.

Lobber 11-14-2004, 10:59 PM $099?
Do you mean $99
I have seen other make that is intergrated.
But not in Yonex Model....
Most likely is a fake(uhh)

It is definitely a fake.
Carlton used to make one piece rackets in the form of it's Powerflo system, they have not made them for a while. However I don't think Yonex have ever toyed with the design and certainly not on an MP racket.
bighook 11-15-2004, 04:13 AM There was another brand of racquet called roxpro which was an all one piece design as well.
other 11-15-2004, 05:24 AM wilson hyper hammer 80g has that type of cone

Probably somethign like US$40+++
bluejeff 11-15-2004, 03:19 PM It's a pity that it's a fake (although I look the look......very modern and stylish  )
forrestyung 11-15-2004, 08:47 PM This fake MP88 is very funny.........., I just wonder the head will have MP or not.
For the cone with shaft in wooden handle, the first racket should be Pro-kennex Ceramicpro 797.
For the cone with shaft in graphite handle, the first two rackets should be Fischer Offensive and Winner.
These two rackets are introduced in early 90's. But there may be some small Taiwanese Brand using before these two brands.
This cone with shaft are having structure problem, if you are an hard hitter, the point between cone and shaft will break shortly. I have already broken two rackets like this and I think it is also the reason why Yonex never use this kind of design.
goldmedal 11-27-2004, 07:26 AM Probably somethign like US$40+++from china, so i think it was 36USD
goldmedal 11-27-2004, 07:27 AM from china, so i think it was 36USDfor that amount of money, its worth getting it even if it is a fake!
