MS will be tight this time, as no lin. It is a good chance for another unknown player to get a good result, especially as there seems to be no other player clearly ahead of another.

Good chanceto win: Chen Hong, Bao, Taufik

Maybe: Gade, Lee Choong wei, WCH, Kenneth Jonassen, Boonsak

If I was to stick my neck out I would say Bao, as I am not infident about CH or taufik.

WS: I see a return to form for ZM, ZN and GR (CHN), but predict an upset and wang chen to win.

WD: No upsets here for me, I see ZHang/Yang taking it. they have finally overtaken gao/huang as no.1 pair in my mind. zhao/wei will always be second best to the above pairs, and other countries wont get a look in.

MD: Another intresting tournament for MD. I think sigit/candra will take it, but could never discount JR/LP or luluk/alven. I think sangyang/zheng bo will reach final and lose to Sigit/candra.

XD: wide open, full of uncertaincies, the proposed rematch of the Olympic final in the QFis exciting. the winner of that match should take it.

All in all should bea good tournament.
