View Full Version : MP99 / Cab30ms / NS7000?
Swingman 11-18-2004, 08:59 AM Which is the best all-round racket?
I use Ti-10 and Cab 21 for a long time and smash a lot. I like all slim shaft and stiff racket because it gives you very solid feel and quick response.
I wonder which one will suit those players like me? Of course, I had tried MP99 BUT NOT Cab30ms. I can tell you MP99 less powerful than Ti10 but give you excellent control. I notice NS 7000 is a head light balance racket but slim shaft like MP99. The ISO head is so similar to Ti10 (frame size).
As far as Cab30MS is concerned, I just want to know more about it. After I search this forum and review forum, the no. of thread on this racket is very limited. It seems not a quite popular racket to review. In fact, I'm very interested to get one but it is quite an investment. (I'm starting to sale all of my unused rackets including my favourite rackets in the past, to raise fund for this.) I want to know some more. I doesn't know anyone in my club using Cab30MS. Now my only hope is depend on you Cab30MS buddies all over the world.
Thanks!
other 11-18-2004, 09:18 AM there are many threads on cab 30 ms....maybe you only searched for "cab30ms"? try having spaces inbetween the cab, 30, ms. or just search cab 30?
anyways...here are some search results:
i searched for "cab 30" (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/search.php?searchid=121264)
here is searched for "cab30" (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/search.php?searchid=121265&pp=25&page=1)
anyways, both sets of results have more then 1 page of results, remeber to look at the ones further back, becuase the first reviews may have been a while ago.
good luck in finding what you need.

MP-99: Iso racket
Cab-30MS: Oval racket
They are kind of different if you consider them seriously:rolleyes:
You can read some user opinions on those two by using "Search".
NS-7000: We can't comment on this one because it's not released yet.
NB1700 11-18-2004, 09:47 AM It's interesting that swingman is selling a few Cabs, including a Cab20MS....maybe he don't like oval head design....

1. If you really consider the $$$, Cab30ms can save u quite a bit when compare to MP99 / NS7000.
2. Cab30ms is an excellent all around racket, according to myself. I string it with BG85 @23, this combo gives me excellent feeling/control, as well as decent power. Before I made purchase, I demoed it for about 5-10 min, and immediately fell into love. After that, I only kept 3 cab30ms in my bag, and it's been like that for the past 7-8 months. :p
3. Limited # of reviews? Well, maybe the users are busy playing rather than writing? ;)
Brave_Turtle 11-18-2004, 02:25 PM Can we know what you don't like about your Ti-10?
I personally prefer Mp99 over Cab30MS but there's still a big price difference.

You said it brother!!! Thou I only have one. Maybe I'll get a couple more after I saved after christmas or something.
SaintDragon 11-18-2004, 07:05 PM Cab30MS is great. The only thing different from this one and MP99 is the the head-shape, since one is oval and the other is iso.

Thread starter^^ Ti-10 is awesome for smash and drives...

I have just come into possession of a La Fleche 500 racquet and if the Yonex Ti-10 is awesome for smash and drives, the LF 500 is at least 2 notches above the Ti-10. I am not kidding.
