Can anyone point me to the thread to all the exact racquets balance chart that I think Cooler, or someone, came up with? I've tried a search but it returns over 19 pages, and more narrow searches came up with the wrong threads. Thanks~ :)

Come on timeless, you've got to set an example for the newbies! :D Lead by example. The chart as I recalled was about racquet stiffness was it not, and it's fairly high in the search list under "racquet balance chart"? Perhaps there was one on balance in terms of length measurement that I am missing.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember if there is anything like that :p
(I am a low-memory person :) )

the table is in the same thread as the 'relative stiffness' table, under the '2003 Yonex rackets measurements' thread. (post #24).

Oh, I thought he meant something else. (I thought it's like a huge table with ALL rackets in it)

No wonder :)

Hrmmm... I don't know what ANY of you are talking about, nor does it seem like you guys do either :p. Racquet stiffness, overall weight, and relative head balance percentages, are NOT balance points. I meant a chart where someone supplied actual racquet balance points in millimeters. I'm pretty sure I saw one here in the past. If not... isn't it about time someone created one? I don't have enough racquets to create a useful list.

Example:
Racquet Balance Point
MP99 100mm
MP100 110mm
AT700 130mm
etc.

balance points when the racquets are in what state?

ungripped and unstrung?

Hmmm... I think it would be helpful in any state as long as they were all the same. But since most people don't have their racquets all unstrung, and ungripped, I guess I wouldn't be too picky and appreciative regardless! ;)

Yes, its true balance point can be confusing. Some manufacturers specify balance point based on their original grip and no strings. But I believe manufacturers of racquets determine balance point before incorporating the handle in their QC control. For players it is more practical to use a balance point based on your actual racquet with strings. Mind you the actual balance point used in the factory is different from the end product balance point. :D

This is what I got from my search... the most recent ones on the subject:

Not many people were measuring their own racquets though:(.
