It was reported that Olympic champion Ji Xinpeng pull out of the Malaysia Open citing a back injury. Taufik cited the injury he suffer in WC as the reason to pull out.

I have an even greater piece of news: All the leading Korean players have pulled out of the WGP finals, citing all kinds of reasons ranging from injuries to military service. I don't believe all of them can be unavailable at the same time. It must have something to do with the Korean BA, though I dunno what.

I read that Kim Dong Moon was involve in national service. Don't know about the rest of the squad. Maybe they got some internal problems.

I read tt Ha Tae Kwon was called up for national service. Lee Dong Soo is currently doing it. The excuse he gave for skipping the finals was injury though. So was Kim's, at least according to Chinabadminton, which obtained its source fr Sin Chew Jit Poh. What's this called? Injury forecasting? =P
