Dear All

I'm currently using an Airblade Superlite (weight~85g). 90% doubles duty (attack minded)... I bought a PowerBlade Superlite recently, thinking that it was a good replacement for my airblade and giving extra smashing power, but was a little dissappointed with the outcome because the Powerblade is rather head heavy and feels very much like a 2U racket. I injured my wrist & shoulder after using it for 2 weeks...

So, is there a Yonex racket which is close to my airblade superlite in terms of weight, flexibility & maneuvarability but can provide me with more smashing power? I'm considering the AT800DE/MP88 (4U) or the MP99 (3U) or others... Any advice?

the mp88 (4u) and mp22 (2u) felt quite similar to the ab-sl.
the mp22 is 2u, but feels quite similar since its very headlight.

the racquet i did find to be the most similar is the karakal slti-80 though.

cheers.

You seem to have some experience with Carlton rackets. Airblade superlite is an old model ya?

The PowerBlade super light is rated at 90g....so not so light. Do you have the Rassumsen series in Malaysia....is suppose to be new for 2004. I only see the Powerblade SuperLight in Singapore in candy red.
The Rassamusen Superlight....has much less red and with black and of course his name.

There is another Rassumen Tour....which is not what I want also.

Do check it out when you free and let me know again.
