Does anyone have any views about the Yonex Armotec 300 racket? I'm thinking about buying one and just wondered if anyone has one and if its a good racket to play with. I read that its supposed to be good for both offensive and defensive play. is the racket good for smashes and control play?
Thanks

I don't have the answer: but how much is the price diff between AT500 and AT300 in your place?
It might worth buying the AT500.
AT500 has got a lot of positive review in the equipment review section. Almost everyone who trys also likes it. AT500 should be more powerful too if you look at the yonex chart.

-AT500 cost about 170~215USD
-AT300 cost about 157~197USD
On a danish badminton-webshop:
-AT500 cost about ~160USD
-AT300 cost about ~143USD
I've tried AT500...but with a low tension, so I really cant say much about it.. but there are alot of players who are using AT500 in Denmark ;) so it can't be that bad :p

The At 300 is mainly for doubles; its strong point is its ideal head balance, improving on swing balance, and the flexibility of its shaft, which allows you to easily receive and clear during prolonged rallies. The AT 500 is more for the offensive player. :D

AT500 is about 150 USD with string and tax included over here, no haggling either.

I've owned a AT300 for the past 3mths. So far so good, but this is coming from a person who's previous raq was a 8100lt. Accroding to the Ynx chart it not a doubles rq nor is it a defesive rq.

Yeah...know :( rackets in Denmark are quite expensive! I've seen AT800 OF7DE to ~286USD...too whack after my taste!
I'm lucky to have a dad who work in Taiwan at the moment, so I get it to ~107USD..
