If my knowledge of the Dutch language serves me correctly, it merely means "higher school of arts".

And, whereas many of us consider badminton a true form of art, I sincerely doubt this is the kind of art they teach :)

Hmm interesting...School of Arts but with a shuttlecock logo. Maybe they find shuttlecock artistic. :)

http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/images/icons/icon12.png Talk about digging in the vaults! Yep the Amsterdam School of Arts for theater and dance. A girl in my neighbourhood attended it (not to mention her cute friend http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z8/cvbogaert/emoticons/smiley_innocent.gif). I guess you could put on a good badminton demonstration on the stage http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/images/icons/icon6.png.

Another late reply: I think the logo is meant to resemble an "amfitheater" like in the roman empire days.

thats what i saw when i frist looked at it...
OP you must have no depth perception not to see it as a semi circular stand

Made me wonder who made them first the Greeks or the Romans - food for thought
