I'm not too good at keeping up with how all these tournaments work. i was taking a look at www.worldbadminton.net earlier and saw some stuff on the WGPF. I was taking a look at the draws and everything. How did they select the players?

Also, are Candra/Tony and Halim/Sigit going to pair up even if they 4 have been put back with their original partners already? Same thing with Trikus/Minarti

PBSI wants them to play together.

i believe for the WGPF, they pick the top ranked players, but since this is the 2000 WGPF, they are picking the top ranked players at the end of the 2000 season, and that's why we start seeing Tony/Candra, and also none of the new Chinese women's pairings are there.

this will be a strange tournament indeed.
