I've been watching the Ina open on tv, then I saw them projecting images of logos of the sponsors on the floor during the match. Isn't it distracting to the players? They are coloured and big, and appear suddenly in the middle of the match. How do they get it onto the court? Is it overhead projection or what?
Btw, can anyone tell me what time the telecast of the finals will be? Thank you...

It's probably just a TV special effect. They do it to most of the big sports coverage over here in UK like footbal (soccer to the US) and rugby, and probably American footbal and basketball in US.
I don't think it affects the actual court.
At least this is what I think it is as I haven't seen what you saw on the telly. hehe.

it's a tv effect.
if it wasn't: when players move ove rit the advert will be on their back. and their shadow blocking the advert.(guessing if it was real. they'll use a light-projector)
