Hello all,

If anyone knows of any places to play around Rockville, Maryland (particularly on the weekends), reply or send me a pm. I would consider myself an intermediate level player and would love to become acquainted with the badminton scene there (if there is one, hehe). Much appreciated.

Visit the following website:

www.evergreensports.net (http://www.evergreensports.net)

All info. you need to play, buy, string etc about badminton can be found here.

I played in No. Virginia and Rockville, Germantown, Kingsview, and I found this to be the best court @ Holmes Middle School off Little River Turnpike. But too bad I'm moving to Gaithersburg, so I will probably play somewhere there.

Rockville is great for badminton - Saturdays, you can play in the mornings at bauer drive community center from 9:00 to 10:30AM and at Potomac Community Center from 2:00 to 5:00PM. Sundays, you can play at Twinbrook from 3:00 (maybe 2:00?) until 5:00PM. You can play even more if you join classes at either place. PM me if you want more info/want to meet to play!

Hey guys,

I am moving to Silver Springs soon and I am looking for a gym to play at. Anyone have any experience playing around there? Ideally I'd like to play at the University of Maryland but I'm not a student or alumni. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

I live in Springfield, VA and I m a longtime lover of the game, and am looking for game play and/or practice partners. I'm available to play most evenings and weekends. I am also available on many weekday mornings/afternoons until my schedule changes.

I'm not sure what my playing level is (I read a thread about this, and there was no conclusive answer as to what the levels A-D mean). I would describe myself as a strong intermediate/low advanced player.

I can't wait to get on the court and play, and am looking forward to hear. My email is, mbsssk@gmail.com

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that the Rockville Sportsplex on 60 Southlawn Ct in Rockville, Maryland has courts available that can be adapted for Badminton. We are looking in to having an open gym for Badminton. If their is enough interest we will may even start a league. This would most likely happen in the evening. If you you would be interested please contact us at info@rockvillesports.com or feel free to call us at 301-838-4455. The more interest we recieve the more programs, and times we may set aside for badminton.
