I will add this person to my "fake racquets seller list".

    Reason: MP66 doesn't have 2U option; MP99 doesn't have 4U.

    Fake for sure

It is definitly a fake racquet by judging the coloration on the thermal bag. Yonex letter should be gold color. We should find those who sell fake racquet on ebay and report them to authority. Good catch!!!!

"The new Muscle Power 66 is a superb high performance racket that replaces the popular MP 77 from the previous years range."

Thermal case looks rather plastic like (shiney) rather than then matt finish that real covers exhibit.

He must work in marketing in some company ;)

Don't bother buying stuff from ebay; you are way more likely to buy fake stuff there than say if you were buying from a brick and mortar store.

Wow poor people... 10 people bidded on that racket already... As well, the other items this person is selling are also very popular. However, I wonder how he made a fake bag? By the picture it looks pretty good and even if it is fake, does it really matter? Its quite cheap...

Thanks for all the replies. Glad I found this site! Great info and nice people!

Just had a reply from him after I asked hi if it was a genuine racket and the reply will blow your socks off.......

"yes, these rackets are technical reackets so they are made in Taiwan but designed in Japan" Unbelievable!

    Thanks

Assuming his bag is fake (as the mp66 is)

That photo of the bag is a stock picture (i.e. of a real bag). Maybe his bag looks exactly the same as a real one, who knows...

I just checked out all the bidders.... looks like a definite scam to drive it up.... considering most of those bidders are noobs.... must be those "drive up the price" scams to ebayers believe it's legit....

To play safe, save up some money and buy a yonex from it's retail or autorised shops.

Without source of people buying, there'll be no business for them.

Full quote from the Direct Sports website:

"The new Muscle Power 66 is a superb high performance racket that replaces the popular MP 77 from the previous years range. Beautifully finished it features the superb Ultimum Ti shaft which generates fantastic racket head speed on overhead shots, it also features a long length shaft with a high degree of flexibility."

well...have they discon. the mp77 yet then? and it def isn't a like for like replacement, the mp66 is quite obviously head light, while the mp77 is meant to be more head heavy and "suited" to power players.......

If that's the case, I will say, even this "Direct Sports" has NO clue about MP66 vs MP77. I demoed both racket before, and besides they both made by Yonex, I can't see anything in common.
