I've thought about this many times...
Head tennis have the Intelligence series which has some sort of Pizo electric material that supposely "stiffens" the shaft when it's bent. I don't know much about tennis racquets, but I thought this could be rather insignificant since tennis racquets doesn't seem to bend much during a swing. HOWEVER, in badminton, there is a signficant bend in the shaft during a swing, thus wouldn't the intelli fibres be quite beneficial to badminton racquets? If the intelli fibres really work, I can see a significant increase in power in a badminton racquet.
Is the reason why this technology does not exist in badminton because Head has copyright on this technology and since they don't make badminton racquets, thus it does not exist in badminton, despite it can potentially be very attractive in badminton?

I think the copyright is 1 reason.... also the fact is tennis racquets shaft is bigger than our beloved badminton racquets, so to fit the Head's Intelligence technology would need to shrink the technology to really small, to even nano-technology.... n' shrinking technology to smaller always equal to major $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.... n' costing us an abundance of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to purchase.... but it isn't a bad idea.... whenever micro-technology can be cheaper....

black knight has this on their ingenia series models.
they call it "brain weave reflex fiber" technology.

LOL
isnt it better to imbed that into your arm and shoulder?
Pizo electric material that supposely "accelerate contraction" of the muscle when it's bent. It would be much more effective
LOL

Sure, if you have no life and only play badminton. Do you want a Pizo electric arm in ALL situations?? :D I'll just leave that to your imagination.

what make u think that imbedded device only work in badminton?
It would enhance any activities that involve using muscles ;)
It only activate when u need it. You can preprogram its threshold point too.
It can replace many chemical intake ;)

these are really hard to use.
they're as rediculously stiff as sun-dried koala turd, and not even the professionals use these, among other reasons. :(
and why do you hate black knight? they make fantastic products.

How much does this fibre thing weigh? Also, wouldn't you need stronger arms in order to comtrol something like that?
Btw about the BK rackets, I like their products other than the durability of some rackets. My friend's BK rapier (i think) cracked during a relatively light frameshot...
