Bad news fro Taufik's fans.
Taufik fell on his right knee in the training on friday 25/2.
PBSI has not yet decided whether Taufik should withdraw from All England.
PBSI will make a decision after reading the report of team's docter.
It will take a few days for the docter to see the condition of his right knee before make a report to PBSI.

I hope that Taufik will go to England, because All England is one of his target in 2005, beside World Champion and Sudirman Cup.

To bad to hear that he got injured.. i hope he can join the all england. Well at least if he lose.. he can blame it on his injury :P ehhehe. Anyway hope to see him there.

After reading from an Indonesian newspaper website(KOMPAS), yup, Taufik is cancelling his trip to AE. Well, so much for his desire and plan to win both the AE and WC, too bad. Boy oh boy, is this bad luck or what??I guess he has to wait another year if he wants to win the AE..
The report mentioned that he re-injured his right knee last week while lunging for a short birdie, then fell down. However, another report mentioned that according to Icuk/Mulyo, Taufik injured his right knee whilst going for a jump smash in an awkward position. This week he tried to practice, but the pain came back. The report also mentioned that, now PBSI is planning to rest him and send him to the upcoming Japan Open instead.

Sad to hear that he is finally pulling out from AE. He may be a great contender for the AE title if he is in.

Very sad to hear that he doesn't go to AE 2005. In this time, maybe he is the only one who can beat Lin Dan like he did in Indonesian Open 2004. Hmm, Taufik hope you can recover soon....and for Indonesia, it will be a disappointed time that no representative in men's singles.....sorry for that...

Actually Marleve Mainaky(Taufik's former sparring partner at Pelatnas, who is now a former Indo National player) is playing in the Men's Single field. He's going there with his brother, Reoni(both will play Men's Double but will go through qualification round).
From what i know, they're going there out of their own pocket, not because PBSI sponsored them.

All England will be held every year, so we shall see if next year will be his year. We'll see if Taufik can at least pursue and be committed by coming to the WC this year in Los Angeles...If he doesn't, the fans in L.A./U.S. will be pretty disappointed
