I wanna ask whether any of you knows whether German Open and/or All England Semifinal and Final will be broadcasted by TV in Europe like Eurosport, BBC, or ESPN.....
I am in Netherlands and I really wanna see the matches...hmm or maybe I can download afterwards from some website?

Thanks

The All-England is on Sky Sports again this year (has been for a few years now). They're advertising it in between shows at the moment.

They are showing the semi-finals and finals (both start at 9pm on Sat and Sun). Don't remember which channel but it's one of the few.

Thanks for all of the info...

I am curious. Can I watch the all england match (especially semifinal and final) using internet TV ?
Or can I download also using bittorrent or other software (after the match maybe) ? If possible, does anyone know how to get the German Open Final Match especially for Lin Dan's match again Hafiz Hassim ? I really wanna see that match.

it sure is pissing off that they're not showing any badminton on astro. they'd rather broadcast some insignificant tennis tournament held in some relatively unknown place LIVE(!) rather than the most prestigious badminton tournament which is participated by our own countrymen.

talk about getting their priorities straight.

Blame it also on the growing disparity between EU living standards and that in Asia esp outside China & Japan.

Some of the broadcast rights cost a small fortune when paid in US prices, remember even Ina could not afford to
broadcast the Olympics.
At this moment it is worst for table tennis where only China is willing to pay a small fortune to the TV company.

RTM is at least using Taxpayers money to broadcaST 2.5 HRS EACH THIS sAT & SUN LIVE.

But I thought I read somewhere that RTM is showing it.aah, but you can bet the commentating will be done in BC! and you can be sure that they will stop broadcasting if no m'sians proceed to the next round :(

Normally for big tournaments such as the WC or AE, they would broadcast the semifinal and the final even though the M'sians fail to progress to the final... but what annoys me the most is that they would just suddenly show something else in the middle of a game, just like last year when they showed some sort of forum discussions during the Lin Dan vs Gade match... and when the broadcast was back, it was already reaching the end of the game...

Yes, I was wondering when they started commenting in Bahasa Cina. Anyway, as long as they broadcast the matches, I don't mind.

Saturday tv1 will show half hr QF highlites at 4.30pm.

Announced that semi will start on Tv2 at 8.40 pm NOT
10.00 as scheduled.

Watch your screens for Saturday, the reason why there is so much change and uncertainty is because Wong CH and Lee CW are playing.

Wasn't Lee Chong Wei awesome when playing Roslin ?

On form he's as dangerous as Lin Dan.

i checked the RTM website...it states that All-England Finals will be broadcasted at 1030pm on TV1. Won't it be abit too late????? Anyway, its the same like yesterday nite....due to the fact that in the first men's singles semis has a malaysian representative...i guess dats why RTM somehow brought forward the broadcasting to 830pm on TV2. So i'm not so sure RTM will bring forward the broadcast tonite again since there are no more malaysian representatives in the finals. Or isit the Finals will start at a later time tonite then the last nite semis...... but i am just glad RTM did actually broadcast the All-England Finals afterall coz i got no cable tv in spore......:(
