If you follow the direct links from the baofe website, then it doesnt even mention the qualifyers. My guess is they will be updated tonight, then live results start tomorrow.

I have to admit that the score sheet today looks pretty good :scores of several matches are being posted 'live' on one continuous page with completed match results on the right column.i.e. I take back what I said from my previous years' experience and exasperation yesterday. :p They have made huge improvements to the updates and 'live' scoring.
I understand that Hong Kong will have the SF and F live on TV on Saturday and Sunday. Good viewing to you folks. Y:)

7-7 in the 2nd set looks like Lee Tseung seng has improved these months since Li Mao startet coaching. He was also close to taking Lin Dan into rubber. Choong Hann lost 2nd set to the young korean.

Seems like Lee TS is a 7-point specialist, scored 7 points so far in game 2 against Gade.
He was a great player during the 7-point system but soon faded away when IBF reverted back to 15-point system. But of course, Misbun was also the culprit to his downfall.

I think and hope that Gade will teach little Lin Dan a lesson if they are going to meet in a rematch. Lin needs some sportsmanship, but Oedum is not unknown, he has before troubled great players into three sets. Almost a player like Saurul from Malaysia

Wong CH beat Chen Yu. At one point, he was losing 10-6 in the second, but apparently he stormed back to win 15-10 to advance to the third round.

It has been a very good day for Malaysia. Barring any upsets later in the night/early morning, only Lee TS went out, and event that went down fighting against Peter Gade. There is no need for a 6-month probation. For me, I think he has shown his commitment and determination.

I was checking on the XD event and only just realised that Koo/Wong did not participate. But actually, they don't have to. Qualifying for the World Champs is not a problem for them at all.

A very good day for Japan as well. Hirose was troubled but still advanced. Yu Hirayama defeated Chen Li, making a further statement for the Japanese ladies. But the outstanding player must be Shoji Sato. Defeating both Boonsak and Kenneth on the same day, and both are supposedly on form, is a great feat that even the topmost players will be proud of.

About 15 mins to midnight now, and the last match is being played. At the same time, an exciting battle between Bach/Gunawan and Kidho/Setiawan. They are tied 1-1, the score being 15-13, 13-15, the Indons drawing first blood.

Ok i could be wrong, we shall see ;) Wong CH beat Chen Yu. At one point, he was losing 10-6 in the second, but apparently he stormed back to win 15-10 to advance to the third round.

It has been a very good day for Malaysia. Barring any upsets later in the night/early morning, only Lee TS went out, and event that went down fighting against Peter Gade. There is no need for a 6-month probation. For me, I think he has shown his commitment and determination.

I was checking on the XD event and only just realised that Koo/Wong did not participate. But actually, they don't have to. Qualifying for the World Champs is not a problem for them at all.

sigit and chandra are up agaisnt a french pair...mm..wonder how quick these guys will take seeing as its getting close to bed time:D
Though they are still rather young (21 or so), they are the new french national champions and they are a good pair for future...
