Exactly as the title says.
I will be going Friday-Sun and hope to meet some of you people!
I know some people who are already going, anyone else? Maybe we could arrange to go out/play on the saturday night?

You sure you want to go on Saturday night??That's when the SF will be played...I don't think that's the "best time" to go and play baddie(unless you guys want to go and play after all the matches are done, which is 12 am and onwards) ..Best time is during morning to afternoon timespan. Add to that give about 1.5 to 2 hrs travel time back and forth(if we decide to play @ SGVBC)..
jamesd20, i'm sure I'm wrong, but you're coming all the way from England just to watch the last 3 days of the tourney??..boy, hope you don't have to go back right away after that..
About Kwun's request, hmm, i think i know how Kwun looks like. Don't worry, we'll figure a way to distinguish ourselves and meet each other..

Im there 2morrow (wednesday the 9th) all day cos i cant do fri - sat im plyin:( anyway hope to get a good day in i know some of the english players so thk ill give them some support and perhaps hava chat and meet up:rolleyes: shud b good watchin lin dan and gade close up 4 once plus some great mixed pairs 2morrow afternoon hopefully get a wave or pic with andy, kris ,rob,or donna i dunno:o hopefully 1st round more relaxed

Hope you had a good day Flamingjam. i would but i lack a digital camera...and more importantly have 2 end of league matches on saturday:( which is my favoured day

why do you need a camera to go?!
Fair enough if you have matches, but it is the AE other! go on fri. It is the best day IMO.

Was a great day saw the players and some coaches learned some stuff and finaly saw lin dan in action b it basically a warm up. Also people plz note early in the day when entering the NIA they search your bags --not seemingly for any security purposes but to confiscate any cameras ther just not allowed:( so if u bring a camera -keep it in yr coat and not bag:rolleyes:
i can see the point of preventing flash photography - totally agree but preventing any camera use is just ther to increase profit,
it was a great day mind wednesday more reaxed and you can walk around also the players i no aree of cos may not make the other days ... hard luck donna

mmm..will they confiscate your camera if u get it past them at the door and use it w/o flash?
james....well, a camera would be really useful to try and capture some shots of the proper technique to use:) and i like taking photos:)

They might confiscate it. I wouldnt risk taking a shot of the players playing on court(unless in warm up room), they dont bother too much about in the corridors/stands though.

well, too bad i have lectures/practicals etc for the rest of this week:(
maybe i'll get ahead of work next time and take the week off:D
point taken with the camera tho..it is a bit mean of them:mad: all i want is around 1gb of pictures of the pros:p
