I just got shafted for my provincial draws. I was sick all of February. I've been playing very very sub-par lately. This is potentially my last year of competitive badminton. I will most likely not continue unless by some miracle and a tremendous amount of training make semis in some even at nationals. Dealing with this kind of thing absolutely sucks... any advice on how to keep motivation up? All of February when I was too sick to do cardio I would just go party... which was also a bad move for health. I want to get back into training and even up my previous levels... but I find all I want to do now is party! I dunno confusing and frusterating almost makes me want to quit.

Well if you look at the current and even some of the former national players, they trained hard and partied even harder. Need to find that balance.

The hardest part will be if you head to university as then you'll have to balance studies, partying and training.

i don't know if it's like in quebec but me, we got a Regional before provincial and only the winner of each even goes to the provincial so if you are there i think your good enought to continue.
