Hi Every badmintonfan out there!!

I just wanted to say thank for your ever support for me in this forum and in the stadiums around the world. This keeps me working hard for my goals.

Lars and I entered this years All England with no real expectations other than to it our best. Two months ago I started training really hard as my form had dropped a bit and it was about time to realize that.

The plans are farsighted and is here to stay untill my career stops. If I was to get in shape for the worldchampionships I need to work on my physical form.

Therefore, it's a great bonus to have come this far already reaching the All England final and playing about 90% of our potential. I'm really happy Lars and I are back on track.

Two great matches in the quarter and semifinal with great speed and excitement. First against Sang Yang and Zheng Bo in the quarter lasting about 84 min. a tough match and I'm still a bit surprised we took it in the end 15/13. Did anyone see the ralley at 13/13??

In the semifinal we were the underdogs and great pressure was on Alven and Luluk. Therefore, I'm happy that we beated one of the best pairs right now in another exciting match to play.

In the final Cai and Fu were really fired up and played just a bit too fast for us right now. We beat them in the China Open last year were they played like this, but we still lack just a bit of pace.

All in all a great tournament for us and were glad to be back on the international badmintonscene again.

I'm wrinting you from an internetcafe in Switzerland were I'm playing the Swiss Open this week.

Kind Regards

Jonas

Hi Jonas - i saw that rally at 13 all - i know exactly what you mean. I think if you'd lost that rally Sang/Zheng probably would have taken the match in a similar way that you did - it really fired you and lars up.

Well done on getting to the final. Your right cai and fu were really fired up at thet tournament - especially after beating Eng and Flandy on the way - i think i missed a lot of your game against Sang/Zheng because it was on at the same time. So difficult to choose between the two.

Well played - hope to see you and lars at full throttle for the Worlds Championships.

You were both a class act from when I saw you (QF onwards). You are a superb pair IMO, able to beat players who like slower games, and faster games, and they dont get faster than Luluk/Alven and Zheng/Sang. You have the speed and skill of the Asian players, with the variety of the European top pairs.

It is rare you get such a player as talented as you, and as nice to give time to interact with fans as you do here-You are a special person!:)

I cannot fault you in the final, it was close, and only a few small errors here and there lost the game. Cai/Fu played a near perfect game.

I was excited to see you two playing in the style and (almost) at the level you reached in WC2003. All at BF are right behind you to successfully defend your title in USA!!

Actually I wanted you to sign My BF t-shirt, but was too shy:(.

You have the speed and skill of the Asian players, with the variety of the European top pairs.I second that.

I was hoping that you guys could beat the Chinese pair but well there is always next year's AE.

Just stay fit and healthy. Hope you will be the 2006 AE MD champion.

saw your match in the sf against luluk/alven jr.i definetely thought that bothof them were better than you and lars however the both of you were better at anticiapting shots,at i noticed upon watching the match that luluk will always leave the shuttle under pressure instead of netting.so good work there.
