:crying: I have heard about the new changes IBF want to do to make the game more appealing:
1. Rally scoring system (like volleyball)
2. Change court size
3. Change racquet size

Apparently they are going to get serious with this and particularly the scoring - it might become permanent and not like that stupid 7pt scoring system that luckily didn't last long.

I have only tried the rally scoring at my club and really don't like it. I feel it takes away from the feeling of the game, messes up the tactics and strategies. Yes it speeds up the game and ends sooner, but as a player you don't want that and as for spectators, well if they can watch a 4 hour tennis match, a 5 days Test Cricket event, a days Golf - why would they mind if badminton lasts a couple of hours.

My question is where can I give feedback and others can tell IBF not to mess with the fundamentals of the game such as this. I don't mind the clothing changes, the training and funding to not so good badminton nations to bring them up a level to match the 4 top asian countries etc. but we have to put a stop to these crazy ideas.
