I think u r not counter balancing your right hand stroke with your left hand properly. Do i have to come over to SG to teach you? May 09-22-2001, 02:46 PM I do, I always have coz of a stupid remnant of piano playing:P cooler 09-22-2001, 04:40 PM or maybe resulting bad karma from hitting ppl with GD birds marshall 09-23-2001, 07:07 PM If you have accidentally discovered the secret of getting your left arm's muscles to take over for your right arm without changing the racquet to your left hand, don't tell anyone! Open a coaching clinic and get rich teaching international players :) Seriously, are you doing any strength training on both arms? If not, your left arm may be too weak for the way you use it to balance yourself, especially if you play fast for long rallies. Warning: this is just a suggestion. I'm not a medical professional or a sports trainer. All I know is a lady in my office injured her left rotator cuff just by normal daily usage (light lifting once in a while, etc), . She's not very fit, so I thought maybe your left arm isn't as fit as the rest of you. Maybe someone with actual knowledge, like Cheung, could comment. Scamp 09-24-2001, 05:50 PM First, it sounds like you need a new doctor... His/her advice is about as useful as a crack in a swimming pool. Second, there's no way you can overstrain the left shoulder playing normal badminton. Thus, I also "have a stupid q to ask": Are you sure you're right-handed? May 09-25-2001, 02:29 AM YES!!!!!!!!!! Loud enuff to be drilled into ur head? nice one may! 09-25-2001, 03:29 AM Well done May, this kind of scampish comment deserves such a response. Perhaps it is scamp who is confused in life?May wrote: > > YES!!!!!!!!!! Loud enuff to be drilled into ur > head? May 09-26-2001, 05:34 AM hahahahahahaha. thanx. |
