View Full Version : Paul Newman talks badminton on Leno!
604badder 04-09-2005, 03:24 AM For those of you in North America, you might've caught Paul Newman (actor, race car driver, and badminton fan!) talk about badminton tonight on Leno. They even showed a clip of the olympics mens doubles game as a clip! Newman highlighted the fact that badminton is in fact a very fast game, and that he's been playing it for years apparently.

- famous public figure Newman.
- very popular show viewed by millions of american, The Tonight Show.
- regularly showing footages and let guests talk about anything they want.
- and more importantly, it is only possible with Jay Leno as NBC owns the footage. it wouldn't have worked with Letterman.
total brilliance! this is perfect publicity for badminton. hopefully there will be thousands of americans curious about badminton now.. :)
Newman has earned himself a new fan. :)
