MS is a repeat of AE final, I am hoping for a repeat result too! If Chen can stay patient, he is fitter than Lin, and better technique. If he attacks sparingly he will win.


WS another AE repeat, I hope for Zhang to win, but realistically she is a level below Xie at the moment.

MD intresting match up, from to opposite style pairs. INA like to defend, then have quick counter attacks, whereas DEN look uncomfortable defending and tend to have a patient attack building up to winners. Should make for a good game. Go for INA, since Jens has two finals, and think will be too much for him.

WD too easy for Yang/Zhang, wei/zhao are a class below. Gao/Huang only pair able to challenge them, but they beat them easy is s/f


XD another intresting match. I feel DEN should win, as they seem the form pair at the moment, and I didn't rate the Thai pair at AE. Girl is tricky at the net, but think let down by her partner sometimes.

MS, too bad the Finals won't be LinDan against Taufik...It would be something to watch(not to sound like ChenHong shouldn't be there)..But knowing Taufik "is not 100% etc in this tournament", I wouldn't want to really watch it either..

MD will be a rematch of the Korean Open, where Sigit/Candra lost a close rubber set after winning the 1st set and had a big lead in the 2nd set..Both pairs, esp. the Indonesians, will surely remember that encounter where there were some controversies in the 2nd set(started when the Danes refused to change shuttlecock and for some reason affected the Indonesians and allowed the Danes to rally and win the 2nd and 3rd set)..I wouldn't be surprised to see a straight set victory from the Indonesians..But if it goes to rubber set, it's a toss up..

WD........

XD hmm, looks like it's going to be an interesting match, could go either way..The Thais beat Zhang/Gao in the recent AE and I think they are playing on confidence lately using that win..

like most, the Chinese vs. Chinese matches aren't that interesting. but i am looking forward to the MD matches. looks like Candra/Sigit is finally back. and what a run of results from the Thai pair. getting the Japan title will be a big win for Thai badminton for sure.
