Mar Vista Recreation Park is located in West Los Angeles. The major cross streets are Sawtelle and Palms Boulevard.

We play Monday and Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There is $4.00 charge including the birds. You just have to bring your own racket. All levels of players are there, beginner to advanced players. I hope this help.

Thx.

How's Joe and Tini? I haven't been to Mar Vista for awhile.

Do you know Sam, Brandon, Charlie?

Is it crowded on Mondays and Wednesdays?

Maybe I'll swing by and say hello to everyone next week.

Viper2005,

This is brandon, who are you? :) Everyone is fine and still playing on a regular basis. You should come by again. Still a little crowded Monday and Wednesdays, a lot of new players have started to come.

Work does not start until April, and I have been a badminton addict for the last 2 years. Which court is the nearest to Koreatown? I can play any time of the day, preferably in the morning. Thanks!

Hello, I am new to LA and to this forum. I have been playing badminton back in the Philippines for the last 2 years. which court is nearest to Koreatown? Thanks. BTW, is the rate at mar Vista still the same?

Hi Nansrv:
Welcome to LA. The Mar Vista rate is still $4.00 that includes the shuttle. You can't beat that. If you live around Korea town, try out Los Angeles City College, located at Vermont Avenue. They play every Saturday and Sunday. Please check the scba web-site for time & schedule. Goodluck!
