is this tri-nations thing an U19 or U23 event...i'm a tad confused because the home page of the website states that it's for U23s...but then the application forms state it's for U19s...
Believe it or not, I'm planning to apply for it anyhow...

From the BNZ website;
2005 will see New Zealand defend its 2004 title in Vancouver, Canada. This task will prove much more difficult as teams competing this year are as follows:
Australia
Canada
New Zealand
Pan America (made up of Peru and the USA)
Taiwan
As a consequence of the greater number of teams and where the competition is being held the competition in 2005 will be known as the "Pan Pacific Under 19 Team's Championship
The New Zealand team is:
William Bok
Alan Chan
Chance Cheng
Henry Tam
Danielle Barry
Michelle Chan
Vicki Copeland
Melissa Kartahardja
Svend Sorensen (Coach)
Jennifer Doo (Manager)
The team will be away for approximately 19 days and in addition to the Pan Pacific tournament will take part in two individual tournaments. These are the Vancouver International Junior Badminton Tournament and the Manhatten Beach Junior International Badminton Tournament in Los Angeles.

Only half of this team was at the CP Maddern. It will be interesting to see how they go against the other national sides.

I was wondering why Jeff Tho wasn't playing for Australia. Is he another one concentrating on schoolwork this year?
