Hello everybody,

the specification yonex gave us is not useful if you want to know if a racket is head heavy or not. furthermore it is not precise enough.

E.g. some people say a MP99 is even, others say it is a little bit head heavy.
A good way to measure this is the balance point.
I think it's not a perfect indication for head heaviness, but it IS an indication ... better than subjective estimations ...

So please, can you post the balance point on this forum? Please give the balance point in cm, measured from the bottom of the grip.
also give us the information if you use a grip tape or not.

I am interested in Armortec and Nanospeed ... but others should be interesting also.

Thank you

I found that mp100 and mp99 are different in terms of length. Apacs pc998(similar to mp99) and yonex mp100. mp100 are slightly longer then pc998 of mine. I din overgripped the grip. In terms of heaviness, pc998 head is heaviler but mp100 is slightly head lighter then pc998. I dunno bout the actual length in CM.
