What's the difference between these two different standards of codes? MX and LX are supposed to be "overseas" markets (non-JP), what about M and L? I saw these on the centralsports website...are they for UK only? Or for europe?
also there are MG and LG ??

yup that bit makes sense, but i was wondering if there was any difference between xxMX (as seen on bbeshop.com) and xxM (as seen on centralsports.co.uk) for example.

sry to bring this back from the dead, but i didnt want to make a new thread for no reason. i just found out for myself there is MX and MG styles for different yonex shoes. i have searched as well, and could not find an answer. since there is no answer in this thread either, i guess posting here is alright. the main example is yonex SHB 89s. looking at www.bbeshop.com:
SHB 89MX

SHB 89MG:

also, i remember reading there isnt any real different between ladies and mens shoes except the shape, since ladies naturally have a narrower foot. but, i also happened to notice there is a slight difference in the pattern in the heel of the sole of the shoe. im sure it doesnt make any huge difference, but i assumed the tread pattern to be the same. heres a picture:
