i want to see if my racket is really bad, good, or average. I bought a Carbonex racket (probably think it's alrdy bad?). it's Carbonex 8200, i've seen a better carbonex racket so i keep thinking it's really bad, and since i never saw the racket in the yonex website, and i never saw anyone even talk about it, so i think it really sucks. But im a regular player, and just played (with actually teachings, not like how kids play when they get a new racket) for about 5 months. if u haven't heard of it like me here are the stats

Manufactured (just in case the place of where it's made affects the quality): Taiwan

All this info came from my racquet and the weight came from a sticker on the racquet so it might be wrong :p

I think the weight is be the recommended stringing tension. A 15-20lb racket? You'd break your wrist:D .

I'm not to fimiliar with the specifics of the racket but carbonex rackets have a high place in my book, well made and sturdy good all round rackets is how I have them down as. I'm sure it suffices.

In fact i tink its quite a popular oval-head racket amongst beginners-low intermediates who prefer defensive plays and if u dun prefer isometric head (muscle power 20s series). I had tried using my frd's one before n i can say its very manoevrable, light, easy to swing n lift and comfortable at net play. however, it does seems to lack power when smashing, clears n drives. Considering the price, i would say its a real good racket for beginners learning to play n going to progress to a higher level in the near future. here are some other reviews by others......

My friend has that racket! in my view its a pretty good racket for doubles, really easy to use and very quick for net shots, but i think it is too weak for singles cos its a bit too light for me. Also i tend to string it to around 23lbs, so wont work for me! hehe
