According to Indo's paper Jawapos on 21st May.
IBF has decided to give wildcards to Xia Xuan Ze, Kim/Ra and Kim/Ha.
XXZ is the defending champion in MS.
Kim/Ra is the defending champion in XD.
Kim/Ha the Olympic 2004 gold medailist.

It is a good news for these players's fans.
But I don't think Kim/Ra will play together since they get a personel problem. :crying:

OK for Xia Xuanze (good news!). :)
Quite surprising for Kim/Ha and Kim/Ra though as they are supposed to be retired...

why not? they are not exactly preventing any other korean pairs from entering if they took the wild card right? might as well enjoy it..

that is great news for Xia. who has been troubled by injuries after the previous WC and hasn't been performing well. Xia has been sidelined due to his injuries and this will at least give him a chance to fight and something to look forward to. however, from the trend of things, i cannot help but to wonder how long Xia will last in the national team. it will be sad to see him leaves if he does.

as for Kim/Ha, Kim/Ra that is also great news. i dont' know what personal problems they have. the latest news is that Kim/Ra are now going out, and Kim/Ha has been greatest buddies since they are in elementary school. so i don't know what bad things can happen unless if you have some insider info, jkusmanto.

I thought you guys know what the problem is ?
I have red a news somewhere, but I don't remember anymore where.
It said that they got a problem so they didn't play together in Sudirman Cup.

Or..... oh my God, maybe it just a rumour.
I am so sorry if it was just a rumour. :o :(

Anyway, it is great to see they play again.
Surprising is Kim/Ha, why ? Just because they won gold medail ?

I think it's great for the IBF to use wild cards for defending champions who are not eligible. I still feel sorry for Hendrawan 2 years ago not able to defend his title.

I also am puzzled by the wildcard to Kim/Ha...is it because they are the only Olympic gold medal pair not participating ? IIRC Ha was injured in the last WC and had nothing to do with the last edition.

A bit of a shame to not let Limpele/Hian a chance.

Go for it Xia :p

I love watching Flandy Limpele play. He looks so relaxed and cool out there like he's hardly trying but then suddenly explodes at the shuttle sometimes when he sees the making of a net-kill shot is presented.

All England 2004 I think it was.

No, IBF isn't awarding any wild card, as stated in the article (link above).
