Hi Badminton peeps.....................as you can probably see(do you have post counts?) im new here.

i came here for a bit of advice. I have decided to take badminton up as a regular sport. i played it at school in games lesson and found it good because its fun and it was the one sport i could beat everyone at!

in my experience at school you could have the worst racket possible (these things looked pre world war!) and you could beat someone with the "best" racket there....................but thats probably only at this low begginer level. i just want to get the best racket possible with this amount of money.......

yea so im looking for a beginner/intermediate racket- anything up to £30. which is probably about $35 because you have much lower prices in America(with my experience in guitars anyway).

any reccomendations?

thanx!

(-By The Way-Sorry if you already have 50 threads already like this!)

I believe that the Yonex Isometric 65Light should suffice. It is around £15 here http://www.tennisnuts.com/ishop/677/shopscr1444.html. Ofcourse you don't have to go for Yonex...

PS are you referring to Milton Friedman in your name??

concerning the racket- that was the one i had found and looked ok so i will probably go for that.

concerning name- it refers to Marty Friedman- the ex- Megadeth guitarist. Brilliant (in my opinion God of guitarsists) axeslinger that makes beautiful melodies.

who by the way is Milton Friedman?
