What tension range are you looking for? Most commercial stringers won't stray far from the recommended tensions, for which you'd have to location private stringers.

Do NOT string at Abbies ... you MAY string at Rackets and Runners (expensive) if within recommended tensions.

I strongly recommend Tad's Sporting Goods.

All commercial stringers.

LOL, my friend strung his racquet at R&R's and they broke it. They gave him a credit in the store for the broken racquet (Gosen) which is a brand they don't even carry and everything in the store IMHO is so overpriced.

Where did your racquet break? R&R uses a Babolat electronic machine without head and throat adaptors, just like Tad's!!!

If I remember right, about 4 o'clock position. Was very strange as there was no visible structural damage around that area at all, previously.

i was gonna strung it 22lbs but wasnt really sure so i just told the guy 20lbs (with bg85)

I just don't see how anyone's racquet can break at 4 o'clock?!? And you use 22 to 24 lbs at most. I assume the stringer started the cross from the head but the frame should hold at your tension range.

With BG-65, at least CAD 22 something after taxes.

The racquet my friend had was purchased in Japan, so it wasn't as if it was available here anyways. I would never take it to R&R to string badminton racquets since I've heard so many horror stories about them already, hahahaha.

I personally prefer to get my racquets done at Tad's since they are one of the only stores (or maybe they are the only store?) that are USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association) certified. Of course, it also depends on who strings your racquet there, but everyone there is pretty reliable. All stringers there check your racquet for any cracks or defects BEFORE they even begin to string it so to safeguard themselves. I've seen many times they inspect the racquet before they string them and I've also seen many times they call the customer telling them there's a crack in their racquet so they can't string it.

In response to the other dude's question, BG-65 strung at Tad's are $20+tax, and BG-65ti are $22+tax. As for the other strings I have no clue so you might have to call or simply check with them.

hi all
I've ended up going to Tad's a few weeks back. But I didn't walk out of there with Yonex, like I was thinking.
I bought Prince TT Warrior, and I love it. It's light, it's fast and it's precise.
When I play with it I feel like the raquet WANTS me to play better.
I can't imagine I could get a better raquet for the money I spent on it($79+tax)
Ted's was great, nice people friendly and helpfull.
I'd definately go back.
