Are any of you guys who live around Toronto planning to go to the World Badminton Championships 2005? If so, how are you guys getting there? I'm a badminton fanatic (not ashamed to say so :D ) and really would like to go watch Lin Dan, Taufik, Lee CW...and all those players who inspire me so much. Would anyone from our area be so kind as to take a few seconds and tell me how you are getting there?

There's gotta be guys going from the Toronto area, seeing that badminton is such a popular sport around here. :)

Toronto->LA is kinda far. i don't see how one would go other than via flying. it is *possible* to drive i guess, but it will take a week if not more...

yea I understand kwun. I was hoping that maybe I'll get some details as to where the best price for airline tickets could be found, what to do after I arrive there, am I to use taxi for transportation between places?

Use www.expedia.ca (http://www.expedia.ca). My parents got a REALLY good deal last year for our trip to Florida. You can expect to find equally good deals for Anaheim I'm sure. Just be patient and wait a couple of days. Prices seem to go in cycles. They'll sell tickets for a week and each day they somehow get progressively cheaper. Other times, they may have like special offers that only last for 30 minutes or so. The site is pretty good. My only complaint is that the hotel they selected was not as great as they said it was.
