I just got an e-mail reply from Peter Gade about the racquet he was using in Copenhagen Masters. As one of the top badminton pro in the world, I really can't imagine that he is so friendly and will reply to me in person. Wish he can have better results this year.

Regarding the racquet being used in Copengagen Master, he confirmed that it was a Slim 10. He also mentioned that Yonex is making a new model for him now ... Slim 100 ? MP200 ? Ti-20 ? Look forward to try with this racquet and hope that it won't be a MPxx, as I still prefer Isometric racquet with slim shaft (I've heard that Yonex has stopped manufacturing Ti-10 recently).

This means he never got to terms with the MP-77... Did he say why?
Also, if Yonex is making a special model for Gade, will it be a signature series? I guess we'll have to wait and see... I doubt it though, as Yonex (to my knowledge at least) haven't done any sigs before.

Oh god ! I just bougth a mp77 just because i heard Gade will switch to mp77, what should i do ? get a slim 10?......

I guess yonex makes millions of $ because of plp like us mate! So get both! As both are very very good!

i recently came back from japan and visited that yonex shop in yushima.
they had this 'brochure thingy' and it was about this new racket. Its called the Muscle Power Slim-80

Hmmm... I assume you don't mean the MP80, because I doubt Gade would favour a 3U/4U racquet like it...?
