Hey guys.. This just happend me like.. 10 minutes ago..

I booked a badminton court to have a singles session with a friend but he bailed out at the last minute cause he's stuck in bed sick. I called the place up and let them know and the guy had a go at me.. he said that I was meant to give them prior notice and that I'm not allowed to make advance bookings anymore cause there were other people calling up and asking for a court during my one. But the thing is.. the place isn't open on Saturdays and my court was booked in 1st hour of opening on Sunday.. So how was I meant to inform them? *sigh*..

I told him that I'm going to drop off the payment for the unused court tomorrow just to get myself outta the bad books.. but of course, my friend is gonna go halves with me.

Any comments on my little dilemma?
Am I doing the right thing by paying it off? Cause I admit it.. They lost business through my delayed notice.

If you pay it off, will they let you still do advanced booking in the future?

Well, I'm assuming yes.. Cause I mean, I've paid it off.. they've ended up not losing any business for the day.. :o

You better make sure your assumption is correct after the earbashing you got in the morning (and losing your money):D
