Carlton's 900FX, I believe, is designed for very powerful smashes and is head heavy. The length of the racket is regular. Perhaps an example of a Yonex racket designed for smashing would be the Isometric Ti-10 Long and the Isometric Ti 900 Long SX.
I have used the Ti-10 and I find its 10mm extra length interesting. I am hoping that it has increased the power of my smashes (it has, according to my friends, by quite a bit). As regard net shots, and driving, I am less comfortable with the longer length because I have yet to get accustomed to the sweet spot and its characteristics.
I used to play only with Carltons, and it seems to me that Carltons are very comfortable to play with.

mountainbig 05-01-2000, 09:12 PM
buy that if only it is on special, because Airblade series is out already, I am using Airblade 2000, but hasn't get used to it yet!!
or try Aerogear 2000 TFX, it is also very good when smashing!!

Byro-Nenium 10-26-2000, 09:37 AM I would go for the Yonex.... Or try out Winex, its something like Yonex but its still good. Cheaper... |
