My friend bought it at SportChek and I took it for a test drive. I found out that it was WAY lighter than my Cab and I can smash like crazy! And accurately! In succession! Never happened before...

Anywhos, there is absolutely no information.. ANYWHERE. Not Google, not the store, not even here!

But I know that someone in here at least tried out one Tecno Pro. All I want to know is what are the stats of it and where can I buy top models of this brand (well, not buy... me poor. ) because as far as I know, $30 CDN isn't the price for a top-of-the-line brand.

DAH?! ive never seen or heard of anyone who ditched a cab (any cab) for a tecno racquet. anyhoos i think its a pretty good deal for 3$, and i dont think the racquet face is warped.. try placing the head flat on a flat surface. it should be flat... unless its a 2 piece racquet, then you gotta put it slightly in front of the T joint..

oh yeah, about the 30$ for top of the line racquet brand... i dont really think there is top end racquets for tecno, well all their racquets are about 40$ and under from what ive seen...

what type of carbonex are you using? sometimes when you use top end racquets that are extra stiff, you cant flex the shaft and it gives you no power. usually beginer racquets are more flexible then top end ones (cab 30 ms... drool) and if you can flex the shaft, it will give you alot more power. but if you flex it too much, you need to get a stiffer racquet.

I bought the Techno Pro Copa 55 at Sportchek for $10... hmm...

And it's light, but the strings are way too weak. That's why I don't use it anymore. The frame will break easily. The grip gets greasy and slippery after a short use. I think one good thing about it is that the paint doesn't chip off that easily. Go Yonex.

Versionone, try this:

Even for Techno, the Copa series is probably their MOST entry level racquets. I might even say they're for back yard play.

Correct me if im wrong, but i believe its made from Steel... All the way around.

You will lose to the pro for sure regardless of what racquet you use.

There is a world of a difference between the skill level of a pro vs. an intermediate player. A pro with a Tecno racquet will still win over an intermediate with the most advanced racquet in the world. Two intermediates vs. a pro - I'd still put my money on the pro.

The Tecno you have is a basic racquet but if you're a beginner, I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just play, play and play some more.

I see so...if I keep practicing with this racket, will I ever be a pro? THIS is my last question.

How about you answer this question - if you had the most advanced racquet in the world right now and kept practicing with it, would you ever be a pro?

I have a friend or two that have techno racquets. I held one of my friends racquet and it was really heavy. And I also had another friend who had a techno but was dented badly. Fortunately a guy bent it back to a normal shape:eek:

I had this techno raquet when I first started , it was 13$ at sportchek so pretty cheap. I'll be honest....ITS GARBAGE. The head shape is triangular , its too frickin heavy and the control and power is minimal. So unless your a badminton god , I don't think you can get pro with this.
