Damn !, I hope those pictures were taken from practice round, because, I hardly see any spectators..
I don't understand why the chinese set up the date so close to the IBF championship. I check out the draw, didn't see many top players from other countries except Peter Gade ! GO!!! Peter !

i dont think its just you i noticed that to in some of the pictures...i guess he hasnt been working out the left arm latley, been getting a little lazy maby.
Lin Dan has his hair trimmed as well.

Cheng got herself a new haircut after going back to Taiwan. :-(

Sorry dunno how to reply with attached pics that you put up ants, but that red top that Zhang Ning wore on page 2 of this thread, it's soooo nice! I want it!! Anyone knows how I can get my grubby hands on that top? Is Yonex even selling it on open market yet? Ants, if you're at the event, can you please go ask Zhang Ning nicely if she can give you couple of those red tops, pretty please?! If you can get her signatures on them too, bonus points! :D
But seriously, I really like that red top she wore and would definitely buy it if it is available! That's one of the best female's badminton shirt I've seen for a while in terms of the design and colour. Dunno what the texture is like though.
Ok, please excuse me while I make a female (instead of a badminton player) observation but I've always thought Malaysian male players aren't really that good looking, and so I'm kinda surprised to see Tan Fook and Wan Wah aren't that bad looking...still, my heart belongs to Fu (from the Cai/Fu fame)..I like his big "surprised" eyes, very cute :) :p
I'm still sorting out the pics guys...
Adelina : the shirt is made from polyester. VeryCool Material. Unfortunately it is not sold at the venue.

She did stun XXF with her play. She did want to prove herself after losing out in WC recently. I think Li YongBo's tongue lash did work out on Zhou Mi.
Unfortunately she lost in the Finals to Zhang Ning. But overall she is really happy with her performance.

Zhou Mi is a funny little girl in that respect. Well... she's not little because she's quite a bit older than me and she's a lot taller than I expected her to be. :D BUT SHE SAID I LOOKED LIKE I WAS 27-28 YEARS OLD!!!! :crying:
Edit: Forgot to mention that XZB is awesome! I'm so happy for him that he won!

I must say, that these pictures are WAYYYY better than the generic other badminton photos in the past. I notice more close-up photos and also real brilliance in capturing the right moment. Very magazine-like quality.

From the pictures Ants posted, Lee Wan Wah seems to have changed from MP100 to AT800DE. Can anyone confirm?

It's not just untaped! He left a chunk of wood exposed without any grip!!:eek::eek:

well it really seems that its the players choice on what kind of racket they want to use.some players may feel that ns8k is 2 light.or just because they want to stick to at700.

eh well alot of pros do use this 2 rackets.but only in doubles because this is a racket made suited for doubles style of play.
