Besides Taufik, there are 6 badminton players who got similar award (taufik's the highest)... Nova and Lilyana got Parama Krida Utama, while Luluk, Alven, Flandy, and Eng Hian got Parama Krida Madya... Bintang Jasa Utama is the highest award, Parama Krida Utama the 2nd, Parama Krida Madya the 3rd, and the 4th is Parama Krida Pratama... Anyone know why Candra and Sigit didn't got those awards?

yes, agree with you, if only base on WC gold, then they shouldn't get also. Even Candra/Sigit got silver medal in WC while they only managed get bronze/QF.
Not even counting on the title that they got before WC.

Atlet bulutangkis Taufik Hidayat menerima Bintang Jasa Utama dari Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono saat acara peringatan Hari Olahraga Nasional di Istora GOR Bung Karno Jakarta, Jumat.

Taufik yang baru saja menjuarai Kejuaraan Dunia di Aneheim AS 2005 merupakan satu-satunya atlet yang mendapatkan Bintang Jasa Utama pada tahun ini.

Selain juara dunia 2005, Taufik sebelumnya adalah pemegang medali emas Olimpiade 2004 di Athena dan Juara Asia 2004 dan 2000. Ia juga merupakan anggota Tim Piala Sudirman 1999-2005 dan anggota Tim Thomas Cup 1998-2004.
