I just browsed through all the current and recent racquets released by Yonex and noticed that not a single model has incorporated Titanium Mesh into the model anymore, so is Titanium Mesh considered retired, not good, or something better is going to replace it? All the TI racquets had it in them, but seeing as in North America and Europe no longer produces them, could Yonex be planning not to use Ti Mesh technology anymore? ISO Ti Swing Power also had it, and so did the most recent model, MP-100, but those two models are also considered discontinued in North America and Europe. I'm thinking that something better is replacing it, like Ultimum Ti, but is Ti Mesh going to make a comeback in future models?

think the ultimum Ti is as good as titamium but more flexible.technology has advanced and the newer mesh or substance used to increase balance of racket is better....not that titanium no good, just that company needs new products to lure customers all the time and then...buy...buy.....buy:D

Well...When MP-100 was first released, why did they put in Ti Mesh in the Frame and Ult Ti in the shaft, when they could have just put Ult Ti in both parts, like the MP-99 when it was later released?

so that u'd buy both:D and then debate which has better technology;)

mmm according to yonex, the ti-mesh is supposed to enchance stability of the racquet head, even for mishits so that all the power is transferred and u get better control etc etc blah blah

the ultimum Ti (again from their adverts) is supposed to be able to bend and then snap back quickly to add whip or a snappyness to the racquet. This is meant to produce more power, sort of a way of making "stiff" racquets and is often used the in shaft like MP66 but i guess is also used the frame? for MP99 (that's one reason? it is rated extra stiff while the mp66 is flex-other reasons as well of course)

g force ti is the stuff in the armortecs, concentrated at the head to make them more head heavy, but still keeping them lightweight overall. head heavy+faster swingspeed=more power (supposedly)

the nano stuff i haven't a clue about....something about stronger:rolleyes: more power:eek: and other stuff

maybe the ti mesh will come back in another form...AntiTourqueTiInsert or some variation:p
