Hey everyone,
I hope a lot of you saw the badminton aired on ESPN2 today from the World Championships Finals in Anaheim. They showed the Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles finals. It was pretty exciting to sit in a pub and be able to watch badminton on the big screen.
So I suggest that EVERYONE writes to ESPN to thank them for airing the fastest racket sport in the world.
You can write to them here:

Thanks!
Gregory
ALSO: couldn't hurt to mention that a lower camera angle would be in every way desirable to viewers to better capture the action.

Just wonder the reaction of the other non-baddie pub patrons. Did they say anything nasty about what they saw ;) ? Were they stunt by the fast pace of the games?
The camera crews used lower camera angles, as well as movable cameras on tracks, for the Commonwealth Games.

I apologize, it is indeed a bit of a repeat. But also, the point deserves reiterating, and the more people that see this post and write to them, the better for the sport I say.
There were mixed reactions... a few people were pretty amazed by it. I do believe that camera angle makes it less interesting. even to me, as an avid obsessive. I did run into a tennis pro at the pub a couple weeks earlier, and he knew about badminton and how crazy fast it is.
It would also be cool if they aired some other matches - ie, the men's singles final was pretty one sided, they could show one of the semis or quarters instead (like Lin Dan vs Peter Gade, for example.)
