J_M_V 09-13-2005, 04:32 AM I propably wouldn't go for a Yonex racquet then. Perhaps Wilson (V10 if it is still in shops) or Victor would be a safe bet. Your friend will get a decent racquet with about 50 dollars (or less) then. LazyBuddy 09-13-2005, 07:07 AM I would suggest a fairly reputable brand (yonex or not), all grahpite (not too heavy), and under $50-60 range. Durability seems more important for ur friend, rather than play ability at this stage. ;) wirre 09-13-2005, 05:28 PM try finding some ISO or CAB racquets... very nice to start with and the price isn't like way up there... Agree, CAB 8200/8400 or ISO 63/65/75 are all acceptable rackets for a beginner. Will be good enough to keep as a spare when buying a second racket. Also agree with LB, must not be Yonex but something in the $50-60 USD range seems to be what should give your friend a nice racket to start with. /mats samtruong200 09-13-2005, 07:05 PM thx for the suggestions ill tell him that |
