Personally, I've been strung quite a few ROOTS AERMET 2400 for 2 ppl within my local club. Both are hard hitters, and both asked for BG65 @25lb. Of course, this is way beyond the recommended tension, but the rackets are fine. ;)

does anyone know if the gosen aermet3600's balance? like is it head heavy, head light, evenI don't know much about the 3600. It seems from the info on the Gosen website, that it is similar to the 5300, which I have. The 5300 is a great racquet. I would say it is a little head heavy. I haven't tried anything more powerful. It seems to really whip on a smash but I have no trouble with control. I have a 2400, also, and it feels very soft. I swear it's twisting in the air when I swing it sometimes. I send off errant shots on occasion with any racquet but with the 2400, it seems to happen a lot, even when the swing feels sound.

The Gosen America website (http://www.gosenamerica.com/index20a.htm) has similar information on both except that the recommended tension seems much higher for the 3600. They both have all 4 trademark gimmicks: WPP, Aermet, Roots, Gavun. And the 5300 is recommended for heavy hitters while the 3600 is for all-around. I'd love to try the 3600 but I can't afford another Gosen. If I lived in the U.S., it would be no problem. The 5300 is about half the price there of what it is in Korea. Your posting was quite a while ago. Did you end up buying the 3600?

About the tension, the Japanese Gosen site (http://www.gosen.jp/racket_sports/badminton/racket/index.html#BRWA53) seems to have 2 different ratings for the 5300: 16-20 and 22-26. I don't know what that means. Are there 2 different measuring systems for tension or something? 22-26 sounds more like it for mine. I get mine strung to 25 pounds and I know that isn't above the recommended tension.
