I read from the Star paper of Malaysia that Round 1 starts tomorrow, Wednesday.

I'm interested in the R1 match between two 22-year-old lady champions, Malaysia's Wong Mew Choo and Singapore's Li Li.

The result of this match will extend to Manila SEA Games (Nov 27-Dec 5) and will be important to Mew Choo who is the current SEA Games champion. But Li Li's current form is good as she beat US Open Champion, Xing Aiying in the recent Singapore Satellite Open.

Indo Open doesn't have any official website, and in SCTV's website there is no result so far. They only have qualification matches today, and no result avaliable in any indonesian sport website that i visit today. Its a shame for such a 6* tournament that don't have official website... Very dissapointing...

Sylviana(Djarum Kudus) advanced to the main draw after winning against Sandra Wijaya(Jaya Raya) 11-2, 11-7

Well, apparently they are from different skill level, however Taufik is so 'patient' in playing with Raj Popat. This will be a good experience for the young player. Taufik does not 'kill' the opponent too quick. Like a teacher when he plays with his student, if you know what I mean. But ocassionally Raj Popat did give good shots, and he may learn a lot from the match.

I agree Taufik probably only play like using 20-30% of his ability only, that saying you don't really need to do much against that Raj Popat, which i think has a very very low standard of play.

Another match shown by SCTV is Simon Santoso against Lee Cheol Ho, the first game was pretty close until Simon pull off from 13-12 to snatch the match. The second game was a one-sided affair. Lee has simply no answer to the array of jumping smashes from Simon.

To all Singaporeans and Johoreans, i think you can catch SCTV on your TV. It is on the UHF channel. I live in JB and SCTV is very clear for me, even much clearer then any malaysian channels. Malaysians channels are real bad, you cant even receive proper signal in your own country.

Wow wong mew choo did well to beat Lili. I think she will meet firdasari next, since she will be playing an indonesian, maybe i will be able to catch the match tomorrow since i think for the early rounds, SCTV will most likely only show matches involving indonesian players.

if uhf antenna can't catch the sctv channel, u can use satelite parabol to catch sctv channel broadcasting via palapa satelite, the signal is not scrambled
