Hi Shuttlers,
I read the laws of badminton and found there is no comments on hte following:
" If a player swtich his racket between his right hand and left hand during his midst of play, is it a fault? Any laws or by-laws forbid this action? I think that there are some players who are equally good with their both hands when playing d game.Thanks.

If this is the case, then I know a guy who will be bummed because he has two forehands. :p

Nope no fault. Ive seen some guy switch racket in the middle of shot to smash a backhand shot (which now became a forehand smash). Anyways, the judge was as stumped as anyone, and it seemed to not break any laws of badminton, so it must be legal. Besides, its easy to beat these people. It takes alot of time to switch hands.

Hi,
To have both hands as forehands will be an asset. The only concern maybe is how fast one can switch? Forehand is always stronger than backhand. Dont u agree?

similar experience... used to have a schoolmate who can play with both hands.. during an inter-school competition, he sprained his right hand when he fell down to receive a smash :o .. eventually won the match by playing with his left  ... damn cool and unforgettable experience...
