LONDON, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Olympic mixed doubles silver medallist Nathan Robertson has decided to stop playing men's doubles to concentrate on mixed, Badminton England said on Thursday.
Robertson, the world number one and European champion in mixed with Gail Emms, is recovering from an ankle ligament injury which sank their world championship hopes in August.
He aims to return at the Danish Open in late October when he and Emms will try to get back on the winning trail before defending their All England title in Birmingham in January.
Robertson, 28, won the men's doubles silver medal at the 2004 European championships with Anthony Clark and a bronze at the 1999 world championships with Simon Archer.
