Mizuno Wave Smash S1 out in Spore!!!

Wow...just come back from Jurong Point today, n saw the mizuno wave smash s1 7km-50008 at the world of sports outlet selling at S$159. :eek: but if member...got 15% discount. also available is the wave angle r2 7km-56014(S$119) n the usual wave gate II. Yeah!!! we finally able to get the top of the range mizuno badminton shoes!!!!!!! :D:D:D

As u requested......thou u may not live at singapore, mizuno wave smash s1 :D i believe alot of baddy fanatics here in singapore are waiting for quite a long time to eventually own a pair of top of the range mizuno baddy shoes. :p and i am saving up.....S$159 minus the 15% is still abit expensive and my wave blocker 3 is still holding well after using it for almost 1yr. ;)

Its extremely light from how i feel when i held the shoes...shld be superb cushioning due to the wave technology...i using wave blocker III now...fantastic support!!! mizuno have been making superb sports shoes for many decades. u may try to make a search for the word "mizuno"....shld have alot of reviews abt the wave smash series. :p

As for daviddoff2005 queries, i dun know if other WOS outlets have or not, maybe other forumers can check it out. :D

i think it should available in any WOS, specially big one like d one in orchard or plaza sg... cuz i believe WOS is the official one carrying mizuno brand in sg..

anyway, this sound like 'advertisement'... damn tempting to see (and buy) :D:D:D

but i still have 2 badminton shoes in very good condition leh... (yonex & wilson)

If I convert it to our currency, the 15% off would bring it just a touch below the standard price of the yonex 99's here in Korea. Mizuno isn't available here except grey market stuff at specialty running or soccer shops.

Defintely, as you can see, the weight of the shoes, the grip of the shoes and the design.... you can imaging.... and best of all, the cushion in it !!! yonex wear off easily.

ThanksYou could try the Store Locator on the Mizuno website (http://www.mizunoeurope.com/sport/storesLocator.asp). This includes a link to an online company that sells Mizuno but there are no court shoes there. The product line on the Mizuno site has indoor court shoes but no badminton ones.

I love the way when you first enter www.mizuno.com (http://www.mizuno.com), it gives you a choice between the homepage for golf and the one for sports.:p Now, if they would just separate baseball out from the real sports, they'd have it exactly right.

The US and Canada sites have no badminton shoes and the China site has a bunch for badminton but they are all old-looking models, no Wave Smash. The Taiwan site has the Wave Smash S2 but no way of ordering that I can see.

bbeshop (http://www.bbeshop.com/index_shoes.htm) has it on their website. This is the company that purportedly will ship anywhere in the world. Search the forums. I think several members have ordered from them, too. The price isn't bad, either. The non-member price comes in at just a tad above the price of Yonex 99's here. The S2 costs $20 more than the Yonex 99 here. I haven't seen a price for the S1 from a retailer, only a MSRP that was $15 higher than the S2 price. You can order an S2 from online sellers in Korea but it will be more expensive than at Bbe and the Korean sellers don't normally ship overseas so either they won't or it will be a big hassle.

i bought mine in december during christmas sale at S$95. only started wearing them after my old mizuno become too torn. after palying w it about a month ( about 3-4 times a week), i don like the shoe. the older pair never gave any problem. this pair keeps causing pain and abrasion on e 3rd and 4th toe. good thing is the flex. like playing wo shoes, but e front support dont seem too well causing e foot to rub against shoe giving problems:(
