Danggit! Oh well, great match, my hats off to Team Malaysia. :)

Yeah, one team had to lose, but it showed here that both pairs were heavily experienced and did not crack under pressure. Indon (er, I mean US) took big lead 1st set, but lost, same goes for M'sia in 2nd set. 3rd set went down the wire. More about luck rather than skill here, I suppose.

Like I said, this should've been the final.

Malaysia Boleh !!!! :D

Yeah. maybe. But this is a cause for concern, how come the ageing pair (Choong/Lee) is still M'sia's best (forget the IBF ranking)? Why are the younger pairs unable to match or take the lead?

I still remember the good old days, where pairs in the teens/early 20's weretheir respective country's top pairs. The Sidek bros won All-England at 19 and 20. Same goes for Park/Kim and Li Yongbo/Tian Bingyi, Rexy/Ricky (winning at early age).

M'sia has so many promising young pairs, but still inconsistent. Not even Koo/Chan can match Choong/Lee. Look at Fairuz/Lin, losing to a Japanese pair almost the same age as Choong/Lee.

You hit the nail on the head, consistency. They need more experience and consistency. Patience grasshoppa. :D

Actually nothing to proud if Malaysia team dominate this 2* tournament. :(
Malaysia has no more good players like last time at 90-an; when at the peak with winning the Thomas Cup.
