I hav escoured the forum, but so far, there has been no definite answer or suggestions to this question: What shoudl a beginner stringer buy? Obviously, we need the tools and the machine, but how much should we expect to spend? I am a student, and I did the math. Last year, I broke 8 strings*$12 for labour= $72 on strining alone (not including the strings). If I am able to buy a stringing machine under $200 (CAD), I should be able to cover the cost in a few years.
So we come back to this question, is there a quality badminton stringing machine within my budget?

A badminton stringing machine? no way. Eagna ST-200 cost US$279 and Alpha Shuttle Express US$350 w/o shipping.

Buy a used one then. Most of the parts last a life time. The gripper/tensioner and washers can be sent back to Eagnas for free repairs or replacements except for the shipping cost. Buying used stringing machines is smarter than buying new ones.

Get a Eagnas EASY-3 for $299 US dollars. It should be better then Eagnas ST-200 because it has one swivel clamp. Also, EASY-3 comes with a set of badminton tools, but some may suggest to buy extra flying clamp to secure the tension.
Hope this help.:)
